I don't understand why we are limited to "skin" details which won't be passed down from sim to sim because it's not a default skin texture! Skin textures really enhance the way the sims in the game look making them look more real and/or BEAUTIFUL. And to have a skin texture as a default, editing household to update sim's look will be in the past. I don't get it. Why are there very few to none default skins????? Is it too hard to accomplish?

Skintones and skin details made in completely different way. Game skintone is a combination of over 30 files with textures (thin, chubby, regular skin, big breast, small breast, chubby cheeks, pointy nose, bulb nose, monolids, hooded lids etc.), skin detail has just one texture. To make skin detail as default skin CC maker should edit pretty much every texture that belongs to skintone. That's a tedious process, and yes, it is difficult and possible only for people with advanced skills.

Aliens in TS4 are the ugliest things I have ever seen EVER! Please someone make default replacement skins for aliens that DO NOT LOOK LIKE ALIENS. It would be nice if we could instead play the alien race as if they were fay/fairies/demora.
