Modding Request - Sims 3 to 4 Male Hair

Hello. I started playing The Sims mostly so I could play Levi and Eren from Attack on Titan. This creator has a beautiful hairstyle for Levi for Sims 4, but the one for Sims 3 is even better. I was wondering if it's okay to ask for a conversion, if I have to request permission first and if there's anything else I should know. Thanks in advance.
