Good Afternoon,
The toddler update has created the issue of Sims not moving their mouths/lips while talking. This is a problem for me as a machinima artist. I have an ongoing voice over series on youtube and this problem seems to be one that is not being addressed. Is it possible for someone to come up a way to fix this? Or does anyone know any details about when this will be taken care of? I'm sure other machinima artists would greatly appreciate this as we use the game as part of our art form.
Thanks.

hi! This isn't really the place to ask for that since the issue is from EA.. and they are the ones who should fix it. You'll find more information about it or if they have acknowledged it on the official forums.
I'm moving your thread over the request section.

wow i have noticed that too but i didnt really put a time stamp on it with the toddler patch. I had the issue with singing on microphones before the toddler patch so i just assumed whatever was causing that was getting worse. It is a little bit of a pain for recording but I have also noticed it is worth with heavy content lots and if there a higher lag on the lot at the time. Do you have this issue with no cc in game or on the lots? I have just noticed personally it seems much less of an occurrence without them but I obviously need my content to record what it is i am wanting to make lol so its troublesome. I can only suggest downloading poses and animations for talking/chat scenes. There are a lot of good ones that I use even when I can normally chat with sims because the poses make for more of a natural setting in conversation. It still is an issue i hope to get addressed but until then there is that option.

I do mix my film with poses, however, for dialogue, they are rather stiff and unnatural. Additionally, I have reached out to EA on their #TheSims Facebook and do follow their official answers HQ thread. It would seem no one from EA has acknowledged the problem. For anyone else looking this is the link to the forum which was over 7 pages last time I checked. answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4-Bug-Reports/OPEN-Sims-don-t-move-their-mouths-properly/td-p/5816712I am trying my best to be patient, but again this is a medium for my series. It is difficult to sit and wait around. Again, I do hope this is resolved soon. If anyone knows anything or hears something please share.
