Hello! I'd like to say, OM, that I absolutely love this mattress, as well as the idea in general. I'd love to recolor it myself, to add in some of the quilt bedspreads that I'm so fond of that I'm not seeing available for download. When I open the mattress in S4S, it opens just fine. I can see all the textures associated with the different swatches, no problem. However, when I try to export a texture, then open it in my image editing software (GIMP), I get an error message -- there's an "Unexpected EOF". I have the DDS plugin for GIMP, and have successfully opened the textures for a wide variety of other packages -- objects and CAS items both. In fact, I can open Veranka's mattress textures just fine. Is it a problem with the package itself? Am I missing a step special to your item? I've tried redownloading it (thinking that the package might have been corrupted somehow in download), I've checked to make sure my copy of S4S is up-to-date (it is; I'm running Vogue), I've even restarted my computer to make sure all my programs are running as they should. Again, it's just your mattress that I'm having problems with.

There is no problem with the .package and recoloring the mattress needs no extra steps... many other people have successfully recolored it already  If you have a question about how to create custom content please post it in the creator help section or in a tutorial that covers the project you're trying to accomplish. |

I created a Sims 4 Studio account just to come and say thank you for this amazing mod. You and annachibi are my hero's and I am beyond completely grateful to both of you for creating these and sharing these with the sims 4 community.

The mattresses will not show up in my game. I downloaded them multiple times. Is their a specific reason why this may be happening.

LOL - I did the same as Areil - thank you for sharing I also have one question which is probably going to sound really dumb but I need to ask in order to make full use of this amazing creation in my sims game. How do I combine a bedframe with a mattress/bedding of my choice? I've used my friend - Google - but not coming up with any direct answer, just links to downloads which, incidentally, is how I found your object :D Do I need to use the moveobjects cheat or something else? I have the same problem with cushions for sofas etc. Sadly I have been out of the game and community for so long I cannot even remember how to bring up the cheat box :-/ |

Feel free to recolor it. I would appreciate it if you left "made with Sims 4 Studio" in the description but it isn't required to recolor and share the mattress.
Just because I'm not 100% clear on how file dependencies work in TS4 vs, for example, TS2 yet... is it okay to make a recolor that does not need this original file in order to be distributed? Or would that no longer constitute a "recolor"? Would it be okay to alter the price or comfort levels and redistribute it? |

Thank you so much! As I am on a mac doing my own creating/recolours has been impossible before now but I downloaded sims4studio today and have just had a little play with your bedding - I want to be able to decorate my sims bedrooms with Hungarian football teams beddings - my 1st attempt at Budapest Honvéd ones. Some tweaking and improvements but this is so awesome!  |
