I was experimenting with clothing transparency by following a tutorial on making a transparent skirt and got stuck. From what I understand I should aim to have one geometry item for the legs with the SimSkin shader, and another for the skirt using Simglass.
In the blender file I have a new mesh object for the legs with a new cut number (3), but when I import the file the new mesh doesn't show up in the package. Apparently I'm supposed to edit the region map too, however I can't get that to work either.
I made a post about this in the tutorial thread where I also posted a few screenshots.
Something that may be worth mentioning is that I'm currently using S4S 3.0.0.9, and that the region map editing is behaving very suspiciously.
P.S. I got a reply in the tutorial thread, so I'm continuing the discussion there. Once I have a satisfying answer I'll make a closing post in this thread.
P.S.S. The issue was fixed with version 3.0.1.0.
