Edited CC in s4s and now it makes body disappear??

Sorry if this is the wrong thread, I couldn't find anywhere else that would be appropriate for me to post this. A few days ago I decided to go into the latest version of s4s and edit some cc's tick marks for who can wear what and what outfits is it appropriate for. At first I just wanted to get any and all cc that showed up in the nude outfit category and make it unavailable for that (I didn't realize I could use the tools button on the main page I thought I had to manually do this to each piece of cc one by one). When I went back in game, I equipped some of the cc that I edited, and my sims' top half or bottom half would disappear depending on what I equipped. I went back into s4s and changed the ticks for outfits categories, again, and whether it was feminine/masculine, and what frame/gender could wear what. I got the same result as before. It's very confusing because newer cc will still show up, but most other cc just makes the body disappear. Is there a fix for this? I've already tried resetting my game, it only made the problem worse. I've also tried batch fixing and it also didn't help.
