hi, I never worked on any cas items and and wanted to start with recoloring a cloth part. I did a research but coudnt find a basic tutorial for it in the forum. I know many people doing it with different ways. But it would be really nice if we could have a basic one for starters.

Recoloring cas items works just like regular objects. You export the texture and edit it in photoshop. You can also export the mesh, and bake it to have a clean base to start with if you prefer so. Then you move on into editing or creating your own shadow texture, bump map and specular.

oh i have been trying to bake uvs since yesterday but everytime i do i got that black spots. even on an ea mesh. so thank you so much for this tutorial. It really helped a lot ♥♥
