Hi,
I would like to make my own 1 day pregnancy mod, since the one on Mod the Sims seems not to be supported anymore, and does not work with the latest patch and EP.
I have gone through all the files, but am at a loss as to which ones should all be amended so that the buffs, the objects states and the timer actually works together.
I would appreciate any and all the help I can get!

I honestly don't know but I tried to search for tuning files that had a reference to all the possible pregnancy buffs and I think you need the 339BC5BD!00000000!0000000000004100.commodity_Pregnancy.StatisticTuning.xml file.
The file appears to be some sort of Commodity with a value, and when a value goes over a certain threshold you get the next pregnancy buff stage. Maybe try lowering the thresholds? I don't see how the value increases on its own to be honest, maybe its linked to time. There's a debug loot file which sets the value of the commodity to 99 and the threshold for the inLabor buff is 97. My guess is that setting that value to 99 will instantly will make a sim go into labor.

If you set the InLabour threshhold to 99, Labor simply will start later, it's a list at which percentage what happens. I am however not quite sure where the pregnancy length is actually hidden, should there be new xml description files those might help.
Other than that the creator of the MC Command Center might be able to help you. The Pregnancy modul of his mod actually allows you to set your prefered length of pregnancy. =)

Thank you so much! It seems not to be a straightforward modification. I appreciate your replies to this.

Hey anidup, I am also in the same boat as you are (or were). Were you able to get your method working?
I'm hoping to also extend the male abduction pregnancy along with the regular female pregnancy, which I am assuming both use the same threshold of 'trimesters' and assuming the abduction files just rename the buffs. At least thats what I have been thinking if anyone else has figured it out?
