I was very pleased when simmythesim released his height mod over at MTS and then very sad when he retired from modding before it was properly finished.
Since he gave permission for others to take over where he left off, I was wondering if anybody here would be willing to do so?
If I had the knowledge, I would attempt to tackle this myself but unfortunately python is beyond my understanding.
He provided the files he had for the project for anyone to pick up and carry on with. I uploaded a copy to my OneDrive > here
Having the mod fully updated and working again would be wonderfull but I would REALLY like functioning shorter Teens most of all.
Working with the scale that simmy set in his mod, I found that, personally, a value of -50 worked well for Teens in my game.
I'm not bothered about the gradual growth bit. Or heights for other ages really, so long as someone can take what was done and make it so that Teens are automatically shorter than Adults once they age up to Teens for the duration of that life stage, and then continue onto full height once they reach Young Adult.
If this goes unanswered, I understand. I found python very confusing from what little I saw of it and I realise that there really aren't that many python modders out there for TS4.
It's just great to have somewhere I can ask this in the first place.
