10/19/2016 Update: I have officially found a texture artist who will help me with this project!
Hello everyone! I have created this thread looking for a talented texture artist to help me with a merfolk project I am currently working on. The tail itself is, as the title indicates, inspired by Flounder from Disney's 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid!
The model of the tail, currently for adult males only*, is largely finished and in a playable state! All I need now are Diffuse, Normal, Specular and Shadow maps for it! I have attempted to create my own diffuse map, but I have never been impressed by my own attempts at texturing. Here is a WIP version of my diffuse texture in-game:
(The white fingers are due to a texture error which will be fixed before the official release!)
If you are willing to create a detailed and colorable GIMP-friendly texture for this tail, I would highly appreciate it! Normal, specular and shadow maps would also be highly appreciated, but I can generate those myself if you are not willing to make them yourself. I will send you the UV map as well as my WIP diffuse texture (in .xcf format) if you volunteer, and you will be credited for your work!
