Updating Default Replacement Eyes

I just realized the source of my brown-eyed sims glitch may be an out of date eyecolor default replacement. 

I really love the eyeset by La Factoria De Sims but my born in game sims all have the same medium brown eyes and the eyecolor cannot be changed even using cas.fulleditmode. 

I was wondering if someone could update it for me? Or point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to update it. Or let me know if I'm mistaken and the glitch is coming from something else.
