Hello. I'm new when it comes to creating/modifying Sims 4 content but I decided to give it a try. For my first attempt, I wanted to see if I could successfully modify some CC hair that I had downloaded. Simply for learning purposes (not to be posted online). I was able to export from S4S and modify in Blender but I can't import my new mesh! I didn't do anything besides use sculpt mode to shorten the hair. Here is the original exported mesh: www.mediafire.com/download/ef7cy2hfavvcat6/Original_Mesh.blend And here's my modified mesh: www.mediafire.com/download/09oyrqd24ddahbx/New_Mesh.blendIf anyone could take a look at the files and tell me what I'm doing wrong I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

I'm going to try to export the mesh again and edit it in Blender. Maybe I accidentally changed something I shouldn't have?

Hi brutumfulmen, wehen you say you are unable to import your mesh I'm not sure what you mean exactly. What is happening when you try?

It has happened to me before and that was because there was no alpha channel in the texture. Make sure it is dxt5 and make sure it is using .dds extension. Create an alpha channel in any 2d program if you haven't. It might not be the solution but give it a try.

Hi brutumfulmen, can you post the .package you're trying to import this .blend into?

It took awhile because the mesh is high poly but it imported just fine for me. Are you sure you're giving it enough time to finish the import?
Also, images and alpha channels have nothing to do with importing a mesh and I do not recommend using .dds images for Sims 4 images generally speaking. Using .png is much easier and frequently results in a better-looking image result as well.

Oh, so when the screen pops up that shows that says "Importing Mesh" (+loading wheel) it isn't finished once it disappears? Let me try to import it once more. I'll get back to you. Thanks!

orangemittens, is what I said above correct? I've been waiting for about 20-25 minutes and the mesh doesn't seem to have changed. How long did it take for S4S to import the mesh on your end?

Okay, I've got it working. I got my old laptop running and installed S4S on it. I was previously trying to run S4S through Parallels on my Mac. I guess that that was the issue. Thanks for your help!
