So I found a tutorial on converting hair from the Sims 3 to the Sims 4, and I really wanted someone else to do this, but since no one has I thought I'd do it myself. Big mistake I suppose, as this is how it shows in game. (Not to mention the sides also show part of the head.) Is this a texture, mesh or just I failed issue? I tried it as SimGlass shader first and it was way too transparent, you couldn't see the hair. SimSkin looks like the picture below.

It seems to be a problem with the UV map, it must be located in the wrong part of the uv. You might want to check THIS. You can also upload the .package to take a better look at the problem.

You're better off using a different hair texture, perhaps one with buns (such as the one of the 2-bun basegame hair). Also, most if not all TS4 EA hairs have the scalp/hairline part mapped in a different place:
