Hello. Is it correct to use "Batch Import" for import several images (png/dds) as rle 2 in S4S? If they have proper names, they are imported and shown in the game, but I couldn't find information about using the button such this method...

i don't think i've seen that anywhere either! You say that by just importing the images, the swatches get created automatically? Can you expand on the steps you did?

No. There are "Batch Export" and "Batch Import" in the Warehouse. If single rle 2 image is selected, "Batch Export" can export it as *.dds/*.png/etc. Such exported file has name "type!group!instance.format". If you use "Batch Import" for this, it is imported with type/group/instance from name. If several rle 2 images are selected, "Batch Export" export them as *.RLE2Image. So, for several images, must I use "Batch Import" only for these files *.RLE2Image? Or is it correct for .*png/.*dds?

So this is not a statement but a question? I honestly don't know why the batch options are there.. probably for several tunings. Maybe Orange would be more suitable for replying this. As far as i know, batch import doesn't work for importing all swatches at once. you have to do that one by one.
That's why i asked if the swatches with it's thumbs showed in the game automatically.

Hi alf-si, as you have noted there are two export and two import buttons in the Warehouse.
The Batch Export button will export the resource with its full type/group/instance name. The Export button will ask you to name the resource that is being exported.
The Batch Import button will import the resource and, depending on the name of this resource, it will either overwrite an existing resource, it will add a new resource to the .package or it will do nothing.
- If the resource you're importing has a name that is identical to a resource already in the .package (the type, group, and instance numbers are all the same) then Studio will replace the existing resource with the version you are importing. - If the resource you're importing has a type, group, or instance number that is not identical to one that exists in the .package then Studio will add it as a new resource in the .package. - If the resource you're importing does not have a recognizable type or group (the type and/or group do not match an existing game type/group) Studio will ignore your attempt to import it into the .package because it does not know what you want to replace.
The Import button will import the resource and replace whatever resource you have selected when you click the Import button with the new resource regardless of what it is named.
If you want to batch export/import diffuse images through the Warehouse you should first add swatches through the Studio tab. If you simply add new diffuse images through the Warehouse without first adding swatches through the Studio tab the images you add will not be connected to the .package.
