Hello Fellow Simmers,
I was wonder if there is a way to remove default EA clothing from CAS, or at least re-categorize it? For example I don't want some of the EA clothing to show up under Athletic category, I'd like to remove it or have it at Everyday category only. Wonder how to accomplish it?
Many thanks in advance!

You will need to make an override and follow the recategorizing tutorial in the CAS section HERE.

Thank you Brujah. I tried to follow the tutorial to see (for the experience of it) if I can change the outfit category from full body to top, and what happened in my case is that I ended up with custom content of my outfit which does show up in top category, but the original still shows as full body. What did I do wrong?? I can't figure it out :-[ It just duplicated my outfit instead of changing the category of original one...

hi kmonica! Switching full body outfits to tops doesn't work that way. One thing is to change one top from sleep to everyday. When you try to pair your fullbodytotop item with a bottom, what happens?
Anyway, to answer your question, you have to use the "override" option to have a default replacement of the outfit and not be duplicated.

Thank you so much Inabadromance. Right now I have been experimenting with removing an EA outfit from Athletic category and leaving it only in Everyday, so here are the steps I have taken:
1) I am running Studio version 2.7. I opened up Studio and selected CAS Override 2) I found my outfit and clicked on Next. Studio prompted me to save the package, and I saved it as test.package 3) Once it opened up my outfit I went to Categories tab and unchecked the outfit from Athletic and left it only in Everyday and Situation (not really sure what Situation is) and saved my package. 4) I moved my test.package file to my Mods folder, fired up the game, went to CAS and the outfit unfortunately is still in the Athletic category. It is also in Everyday, but now it shows as custom content there
Go figure??
Do I need to export / import mesh when I do Override? Have I missed anything?
Again, many thanks for any inputs on this!

mmm When you selected your outfit, did you select all the swatches?. You have to click on the first swatch that appears on the catalogue, hold shift and click the last one. Also, when changing the categories click the "apply for everything" so that the rest of the swatches have the same setting too. If that doesn't work, then i'm clueless about it :/ I haven't done something like that yet.
