I have grown quite enamored with the "Classy Glass Doors" appearance when on a diagonal wall. The problem however, is I don't like Diagonal entry ways on my builds. So I was wondering if it was possible to pull the diagonal appearance of the door and make it into a new door that works on straight walls? While on the topic of the classy glass door, I have also tried to change the footprint to make it so that can be centered on an odd tile entry way. I cannot seem to get it to sit center on a tile now, it is in between tiles and I have no idea how to fix it. I am currently using an over ride for this effect. If you made the door diagonal it wont sit on a straight wall, or am I missing what you mean ?

@misters Thank you for the reply. What I had meant was pulling that appearance from the mesh, and flipping it to look like a 3 tile door or something. Some of the doors (this one included) add extra glass panels when sitting on a diagonal wall.
The footprint thing is a separate project that I am trying to do so that I can have a wider variety of entry way doors instead of just a handful that do not fit with the decor of my house (I just thought since it's the same door I'm working on I'd put both issues on one thread).

Its in a different lod/mesh group, like the kitchen counters. The mesh groups and and cut numbers in the actual individual meshes are different, one would think they could be swapped to match somehow, if I get time later Ill look at it, in the meantime someone else may be able too.
Edit - there might be a cheat way, Ill try it while I drink me coffee, no guarantees it will work though.
Edit again - cheat way didnt work

Just turned the angled one 45 deg in blender so in game it was straight, but it just reverts to the original mesh when place on a straight wall.

@misters Ah. I'll have to try some ideas myself!

This was relatively easy to do and only took 5 minutes, however until we get the wall cutouts into the tool you will be stuck with it not being perfect and this is not an override. Click to see larger. To accomplish this I did the following: ***All done in the warehouse***- In the cutout resource I switched which one had the DiagonalCutoutMapping check box
- Export both model resources using Batch Export (so I could tell which was which)
- Import the model into the opposite model using standard import NOT BATCH
- Save as new file in case of errors
- TADA!
***EDIT*** One thing I noticed after posting this is that the medium lod mesh has it's cut numbers different on each mesh. To fix this you will need to export the medium mesh (from the original) on the studio side, change the cut numbers in blender (possibly merge a gouple groups), and reimport into the package. You will see what I'm referring to if you exit the package and reopen it after you save it.***EDIT 2*** Upon further inspection the original narrow door seems to be missing parts of the mesh. This can be fixed but is a little in depth.

What parts is it missing? Sorry it took me so long to respond, I've been a bit busy. And Thank you so much for everything so far!
