Hey all! I was wondering if there's any Tenth Doctor fans out there, and if so, whether any of you clever people would be able to make an IKEA-style flatpack Tenth Doctor? (By that I mean not a full sim, just the bits and pieces needed to make him). I've checked around the internet, but Doctor Who mods are very lacking, and the ones that exist aren't to my tastes. I'm envisioning some or all of the components of: Hair (Proper sticky-uppy sorta hair) Sideburns (muttonchops are NOT sideburns, EA :( ) Suit (specific suit is below in pics) Converse (white all-star converse) Ref links (hair only): ProfileFront
Ref links (Suit/shoes only): Full body 1
Full body 2 White all star converseOf course, the TARDIS and sonic would be pretty awesome to have too, but only if anyone cares to try! (I tried to make the TARDIS as a deco item in Blender, but I have a feeling Sims 9 will be released long before I work out Blender). The most important things for me are the hair and sidies, anything else is an added bonus to my existence :D Thanks for the interest! :D |

Oh yes, fantastic though his hair is, it's a complete pain in the world of Sims :cry It might take forever tho, I'm super slow, considering I'm either out of the house or working XD I'll notify you once I have sth done :D Oh, I'm just excited someone's doing it! brittpinkiesims Is Autodesk 3dsmax, I don't know which version, but surely one of the new ones. I'm currently trying to re-learn that programme too! It has a lot of wonderful tools, but I think it is quite profesional for me! I got lost in the many tools that it has.

Yeah 3ds max 2014. Its the student version from my 3d modeling course I done a few years ago Its exactly the same as the commercial version, its just you can't use it for commercial projects. Mathcope Ive got no idea what half the tools do. I remember one of my tutors saying he dosn't think anyone outside the devs knows what everything does. |

I have the program installed but guess I had to forget it since I just could not get myself to figure it out.I love the tardis wardrobe. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the answers Mathcope and MisterS! I'm just starting to learn things about meshing, would you say it's easier to use a program like 3DS Max as opposed to Blender? And to get back on topic- love the Tardis wardrobe! It's awesome :D Would you consider doing a Simlish version?  |

3DS max is a lot easier to use, its also about a grand for the commercial version and complete overkill a lot of the time. They both have the same learning curve. Bender is not that hard, I find it annoying buts that only cos I know how to use max.
I'll leave a simlish version for the recolor people. I hate texturing and do the minimum I have too. I cheat with bakes for the most part.

Cool! Utterly mega thanks (terrible English there, but what the hey). I'm so excited to get this in my game and have a million Time Lords wandering about. My favourite scenario was always locking the Master and the Doctor in a house and watching them tear each other apart in Simlish :oops (Sorry, I really need to turn on some notifications for this thread or something!  ) |
