How to remove a pattern from a texture {Solved}

I could have sworn I saw a tutorial floating around somewhere saying how to remove a pattern from an EA texture, and I've been searching all night, but I still cant find it!! I need to remove an annoying plaid pattern from an EA texture for a new mesh I've made. Does anyone know how to do this??
