Ok, so it's been 5 days and I'm totally stuck. I made a tree from the Lilacs and Lanterns, the last one was fine but this one thinks the whole tree is a light? During the day its fine but at night the whole tree lights up. I won't reduce the lighting specs in the warehouse because it feels like cheating. I have tried (so many things I've forgotten most of them) comparing the maxis mesh, my other mesh with this one. checking the light settings/ they look identical, changing the specs, changing the specs back... I'm at my wits end, so the tree has been been named Delilah. link will show why (OH WHY?) :shrug

If anyone has time would you take a look and tell me what I am missing? Thank you

The object you cloned off of, the tree from Movie Stuff, is actually a light. The lanterns light up at night.

Thank you, I will try the above, I spent hours looking at the lights and the lods but I could not see what would make the trunk and the leaves light up? The lanterns and stars mesh tree only had super-lighted stars until I toned down the texture. I even cloned other lights to compare the settings to the tree. Thanks for the link when I'm out of 'arghhh' mode I will follow it closely. And maybe I won't dream about the damn thing tonight
