Solved: Scaling back the shadow group in blender on the y axis fixed the issue. Thanks for the help/suggestions you guys Hi All, So I have a tiny issue I am unsure of how to solve for myself. I want to size down the footprint of the single mattress but there's no footprint data in the package even though it's its own mesh. Also, I don't know if changing the footprint slightly will have any effect on the animations of the bed. The part I want to reduce is just the foot of the mattress where the actual mesh doesnt reach. The highlighted portion in the screenshot shows where the footprint of the mattress extends over the frame & toybox. If I could just size it back a bit, it would keep the toybox functional. I thought about resizing the mesh in Blender and using the update footprint option and then just reimport the original sized mesh with the hopes the new footprint size will stay, but that options not available because the footprint is gone. There's also no footprint data for the toybox.... Can adjusting the rig on the toybox fix boundary issues? Thanks!

Footprint should not affect bed animation since animation is tied to rigs and bones. Why does your mattress not have a footprint resource? Have you tried cloning off of a different bed?

What items are you using for your clones?

My mattress is cloned from I believe annachibis.it's part of an older set of mine. Idk why it doesn't have a footprint, it's just not there. The toy box is cloned from the base game toybox. I guess I could try and clone a new bed from base game, delete the frame and adjust the rig and not footprint. Do you know what option of the rig I should adjust?

Would it not be easier to make the frame larger as opposed to making the mattress smaller? I don't really know how that would affect the pillows/cover movement and the animation.

No. I've already done all the recolors etc. I guess I could just try cutting the front of the bed off and just making the entire toybox separately.
Thank you

Annachibi's first bed version did not have a footprint but she updated it in April last year so that it does have a footprint and Sims will not walk through the frame. Perhaps try re-downloading the bed and working with the updated version.

I actually fixed the issue. It had nothing to do with the footprint. I just scaled back her shadow mesh group in blender. That was the issue causing the interference with access to the toychest. Thank goodness because I've been putting off redoing this bed frame.
