requst:no more x-ray vision

I have no knowledge of how to create mods, so I am putting this out here. I find it beyond annoying that sims have knowledge of other sims elsewhere on a lot. For an example, I took the 64x64 lot, created two towers on opposite corners, three subfloors deep, four floors tall with ceiling being a patio. All levels had tallest size walls, no windows, doors, or stairs. I teleported an npc (from household) at bottom level of one tower, teleported another to top patio of other, and they knew of each others presence. My active sim is unable to call them over due to distance. They cannot travel beyond the rooms they are in, so how do they "see" each other? So I am asking if someone could create a mod to limit a sims "vision" or "awareness" to the room currently occupied by the sim. Thanks in advance.
