Steep learning curve here, but I've got it to work- mostly. I've been pushing and pulling this mesh for days and it now works 90% of the time, but I still have some problems. I'm not even sure if it is possible to fix this problem- any attempt to correct this results either in more clipping of the mesh itself, or of the upper body clothing that is in contact with it. On the very tightest shirts there is a tiny bit of clipping, but the game seems to have a way to mostly correct this. problem by elwingblue, on Flickr On some tucked in shirts there is a problem with the waist band. problem2 by elwingblue, on Flickr And there are more clipping problems that *only* appear with the most obese body type. Untitled-9 by elwingblue, on Flickr Well, what can I say. I've been at this for days and I've learned a lot about Blender, which is good, but I'm still very much a n00b. Is there something I can do, or should I just accept this compromise? Thank you for your help!

It would help a lot if you could post your .package file.

I'm still working on this, and I have made some progress. I'm not comfortable with releasing it yet...

I usually put my work on Mod the Sims, but I don't want to submit this until it is as good as I can get it. So I put the preliminary file on Mediafire: www.mediafire.com/download/kn1udw8u1dabzjz/Velouria_Maleskirt.packagethere are a number of things that I managed to solve by clipping and modifying the top of the mesh. Tucked in shirts now look good Shirtless looks good too. Even the tightest shirts show no clipping Except, *sigh* when there is an extremely large belly involved. But only with the tightest upper body garments. Any attempt to solve this gives me problems with skin showing trough the skirt. And, finally, this problem only occurs with two upper body garments that are longer than the others. Some of the skirt texture is visible on the jacket. problem7 by elwingblue, on Flickr I suspect this is caused by the fact that I shortened the mesh, but did not change the DDS texture files. It will be a tough one to solve if it is that, because this skirt comes in 20 different original colors to which I added some 6 more... Anyway. as this only occurs in two combinations it is not the biggest problem, but still. So what do you think of my humble first attempt? I think this project is an important one though, as I searched quite hard and to my best knowledge there is no long skirt for males available in S4. It's something anyone who likes fantasy, historic or gender-queer simming would need.

It's great! It probably can't be improved anymore though, I checked the blend file and everything looks top notch! This is probably as good as it gets for the mesh.

Thank you for your help! But, it's still a compromise. I don't know...
