Hello all, and andrew. i got 2 questions, so far only you (andrew) have answers for them so i made it in 1 topic hope its ok. first question is, after you showed me where i can read paths, i found the 2d animations i was looking for, the problem is from s4s i can only export it as bin(and the file source is not video codec so that file not an avi file), and when i export the same file with other program it comes as avi. so i got my avi, how ever i would like to use only s4s, so is there any way to export this file as avi using s4s?
the other question is, how to change 3d animations? like door opening, is the animation stored in the door object or in the action? if u could just give me some guidelines on what to look for like u helped me with the 2d animation be great.
thanks a head for taking time to answer, i really appreciate it.

Hi eviltiptip , which of your other posts mention what you're trying to do? It might be helpful if you could link to them here in this thread. For example I don't quite understand the use of the AVI in this case. Do you use the result in game somehow? Oops nevermind I see this post looks like what you're referring to sims4studio.com/thread/3733/help-understand-tuning-xml-programing

Hi eviltiptip, several people have asked about how to make custom animated objects and we're in the process of writing a sort of tutorial that shows what's involved in that. It's a lengthy process and it can be very project-dependent so it's not easy to give a quick post that will fit every item someone wants to make. I hope that tutorial will be available some time in the upcoming week. When it is complete it will show how to give an object custom animations from start to finish using only Sims 4 Studio and Blender.
