Ooh, this looks like something I could do. I'll give it a try. Edit: Do you want to be able to place things on the mat, or is it purely decorative? I could make it it either way.

Oh thank you so much, yes I actually would love to be able to put thing on the mat, if you can make rounded corners, that would also be very nice I just noticed the source picture I posted was a bit deformed, so I straighten it out and put it on a transparent background and saved it as PNG image format, so it does preserve transparency, hope this helps a bit... here: i.imgur.com/Vh8gtAd.jpgThanks again very much Edit: too bad, I just noticed imgur doesn't let you get the PNG, cause it converts to JPG. Well, at least the image is straighten out now

Sorry, I had already made a texture from scratch in Photoshop (I wasn't sure if you wanted me to use that exact photo). I tried to make it look as close as possible but I just noticed that I forgot to put the number markings on! Here is what I have so far: Do you think it looks ok, or should I fix it? I should be able to finish it by later tonight.

Oh no problem at all, WOW it really looks amazing, thanks so much :D Maybe just if the lines were a bit sharper, however if that is a problem... it looks fantastic already! To be honest at first glance I thought you posted a real-life picture heheh :D

Yes, I thought it looked a bit blurry too. I can try using a larger texture and see if that helps.

yes I think that would help, as I recall the larger the texture (meaning more dpi and pixels), the neater the image

I think I'm finally done! Sorry it took so long, I was having trouble with the slots. You can put items on top but it requires some extra steps: 1. turn on MoveObjects cheat. 2. place mat on the floor and put the items on. 3. Grab the mat and put it on a desk. I'm not sure why you have to do this, I don't have enough experience to fix it. It can be found under decorations in the misc. category. I hope you enjoy it, I had fun making it. I will PM you the download link unless you want this to be shared publicly.
