i tried everything but nothing works. previous version work just fine . can anyone help me out pls?
go to your C drive you'll see program files x86. create a new folder IN YOUR :C DRIVE called program files x68 . create a folder in it called electronic arts and move your sims 4 game into that folder
*Create folder Program Files x68 *Create electronic arts folder in Program files x68 *Move your sims 4 folder into the Electronic arts folder -NOTE : you can either move your sims 4 folder in there or you could create copy of it. Creating a copy is better . just incase something goes wrong-
so instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
you need to create a another folder in your :C drive! do not delete PROGRAM FILES X86 ! DO NOT!
C:\Program Files (x68)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

I had s4s working like a year ago, before gt came out, but I uninstalled it in favor of the sims 3 because I forgot the number it did on my weenie little laptop. This saturday I got the sims 4 again because its prettier and easier to work with, and I had hoped that I could get s4s working again. I have it in C:/Program Files (x86)/The Sims 4. I don't have it connected to origin, and I think everyone knows why someone would not want to connect the game to origin and wouldn't have it in C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4.
I can't seem to set the gamepath. I have screenshots, but I think describing the problem will be more effective, if anyone wants to see them though for illustrative purposes I can post them.
When I open s4s, it asks me to set the gamepath. However, it will not change its set gamepath C:/Program Files (x68)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4. It will, however, change that directory if I try an invalid directory, like C:/Program Files (x86)/The Sims 4/Game/Bin or like where my mods folder is in Documents.
I can't seem to find or access an older beta of s4s. All I want to do is edit some warehouse files, do some recolors for personal use, etc, so I don't think I'll really need the newer features.

This is a bug in the current version of Studio that affects some people. Its fixed now but there are still a few things I need to test on the other changes we made before the new version can go up. Until then you can still use the previous version 2.6.0.8 which is still in the Dropbox download link.
