Can i create animation mods

I want to make mods for certain expansion packs that adds more interactions for sims and makes game play better This is my first time using this software however i have modded before And i have studied Modeling for half a year and i have studied 3d animation for a month. do i was hoping if there was a way to add animation into mods with this software.along with interactions because i have seen that it only lets you create a sim or create an object.
