So I started a frankenmesh project, because, well, why not? So I wanted to make the male bathrobe shorter at the bottom and the sleeves, I needed legs and arms from the nude files in order to get these all combined, hence why it's a frankenmesh. Everything worked out great! Until... Why's he look like a bad impression of Darth Vader? I haven't even touched the UV map yet, because when I saw that I thought maybe I did something wrong. Which I probably did.

Okay, an update (and a pic, hence the new post). I've been fiddling with this, found this tutorial and I have been following that. This is what it looks like after I am done before I do the UV Map. But when I go into S4S, the arms aren't shortened like they should be. Any ideas on what I am missing? I haven't edited the uv map or texture yet, just the mesh part.

Are you sure it's not a cut or some other issue with the mesh?

So I went ahead and tried something. I changed my base mesh from the bathrobe to the nude top. Then I went in and changed it from a top to body and it worked! However, a new issue. There are barely visible white lines around the elbows of the sim. Not around the legs, just the elbows. Not sure why, I edited the .dds file.
