I would love to have a one tiled and a quarter tiled piece of glass to make deco objects with. I have the table in S4S which I have had some ideas for but I have no clue how to separate the base from the glass or to make it believe its not a table top any more. The Lama is the only great piece of glass there is but no matter how many tries I do I cannot reduce the foot print. I'm number blind on some things and this seems to be one of them. If there is any kind person out there that would give the Lama a smaller footprint and allow us to play with it, it would make my day. Thanks for reading and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the creators that make this game so much fun

Thank you so much design4sims, I'm sorry I haven't been around I've not been at all well. it looks great, I wanted a pure piece of glass with ating footprint so I could make glass bowls etc. I will put it in the game in a while and test, and report back. Again thank you :-)

This will have a footprint all objects have footprints. Importing a foot print is easy. Also you would not want to use this for all objects unless you know how to change the tuning. If you where to use this for a table it would not work and if you used it for a bowl then kids will play with it.

Hi I have just seen my very bad spelling and grammar above, so sorry. It's been a very long day. What I meant to say in my original post was I wanted a peice of glass that I could change and make different objects out of (Play with). My sense of humour leaves something to be desired sometimes, sorry. I tested the lama in game and found something very interesting. When I was a distance away from it it was transparent, but when I zoomed in closer it became a solid object? I am not very knowledgable about the alphas and shaders in this game, I compared the shaders of my big chanel bottle to your lama and found the bottle (cloned from the big lama) has a shader and your lama has a phong shader. I really wish I could work out what the differences were between the two and how to import and change them. If I could, I could make pure glass objects like the big lama and your mini lama.
As for footprints, this is me being number blind. I should be able to do as others can but it will take me a long while to learn.
Your mini Lama is adorable, thank you so much for doing this. If you have any thoughts on why it changes from glass to solid when zooming close and far please tell, it may help me understand the whole shader thing EA has going on.

I will take a look at it and see. There are many helpful tutorials you should look at to learn how creating an object is done. There are many different types of shading options and even I don't know all of them and what their difference is. Unfortunately there is no way to import a shader, you just have to know what to change if it doesn't have the shader you need. Thats why its always best to pick a object to clone that is as close as possible to what you need. So like if you want an item with an alpha layer clone a plant, if you want glass then clone a painting with glass or a table, shelf.
