I wanted to change the colors of a sweater in the game and use it as just a plain sweater, but I have a problem. I colored it as I wanted in Photoshop, everything is fine up to this point, but I can't get rid of the sweater texture on it. How can I fix this? As seen in the 2nd picture, my goal is to get just a plain texture. I hope I explained it correctly. I apologize if I made any spelling mistakes. I use Google Translate. Hi. The only way is to replace this texture with the one from a different item or by baking a new one Thank you for your answer. Is there an up-to-date tutorial for these two methods?

Replacing textures: - export a white or gray version of the diffuse. If there isnt one, choose some light color; - find an item that has the texture you want, choose a swatch that matches the previous diffuse in color (at least in lightness), clone, export the diffuse; - open the first diffuse in photopea or photoshop. If it was colorful, Edit - Adjustments - Desaturate; - File - Open and place, the second diffuse, make sure it is 100% by 100%; - - if needed, desaturate as well; - adjust the opacity of the second diffuse and select an area you want to replace; - insert the selection with ctrl I, delete. If will ask you 'resterize?', say yes; - bring the opacity back to 100 and erase extra with a soft brush; - if needed, adjust the lightness with Dodge tool or Levels;
- once done, File - Export - PNG Baking: - Export the blend, open; - select all meshgroups of the sweater, join with ctrl J; - in edit mode select everything, Mesh - Merge by distance; - switch shading to Solid material; - in Object mode Object - Shade auto smooth, change angle to 89; - Add - Mesh - Plane, make it big. Select your sweater again; - bake it like this Baking a diffuse texture: - select the painting; - expand the timeline, switch it to Shader editor; - remove the existing material and create a new one; - click on Add, then type in Image texture in the search bar, add this node, but do not plug it anywhere; - click on New and create a new image; - keep this node selected; - switch to Render tab, choose Cycles, choose GPU if available ( if not, leave as it ); - set samples under Render to 500, Light paths to 1; - Expand bake, choose Ambient occlusion, bake; - Image - Save as, import in s4s;
