hello! ive got a question. when i make any type of dress or skirt that has ruffles, the weights dont transfer properly and when the sim walks the bottom half of the ruffles stay in place and clips through the legs. is there a way to combat this? or do i have to manually paint the weights

Hi. Share one example with the aforementioned issue please. If a garment is modelled with intended functionality in mind, no data needs to be edited manually

You have two color attributes, with the first one being incorrect. Delete the one called Attribute, separate the skirt and transfer vertex paint from a skirt of similar length. The skirt is too close to legs in some areas. Move them away with proportional editing enabled. Unrelated, but always split sharp edges on the garment and remove doubles on body parts

Alt-click to select edge loops along closed holes and Mesh - Edge - Edge split. This is done before baking textures, before importing the blend in s4s.
