I've created at least 20 different portraits and every single one of them is crashing my game when I place them. I'm not sure what's wrong with them. What I do know is that I don't have a "texture" option under the texture tab. All I have is Diffuse, Normal, and Specular. In every tutorial I watch, the person uses the texture option to make their custom portrait. Here is a photo of what my Texture options look like. Again, there is no texture option. Is this what's making it not work? 64.media.tumblr.com/6bd008f1757ceb046f88f5748d0ef196/e56ff033f834f61a-35/s100x200/05aa86808b745a926eaab582ac7dc77b9b9fccb8.pnjDoes anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it?

Hi. That is how it is mean to be. Diffuse is the one you edit. Make sure your image’s dimensions are a power of two ( for example, 1024x1024, 1024x2048, not 1000x1000, 500x1100). Also, make sure there are no special symbols in the package’s name.

I need to see the package itself to check the image sizes. Could you upload it to mediafire.com and share here?

ah, i see. The original painting is made of three parts: the painting itself, the glass panel on top of it, the shadow behind it. The glass has a separate texture and that is what you're replacing instead of the painting. you're meant to be doing it like this: How to do what you have in mind: - in s4s main menu click on Create 3d mesh and then on Object; - in the search bar paste paintWall1x1x1 , choose this painting again, click on Next, name memorywallcolor, save in Mods folder; - export the first diffuse map as png; - open it in the image editor, for example, photopea; - File - Open and place, choose your picture; - scale it down to replace an existing painting; - File - Export as - PNG; - import back instead of the first diffuse, save, test in-game.
