So, I'm making a mesh edit of an existing piece of cc (removing the built-in hood and mask that came with it), and everything seems to be working fine, except that when I put it on my sim in-game, it distorts his face. Removing the outfit immediately fixes the issue and it only happens with this outfit being worn, so I know it's an issue with this piece of cc.
Here's my sims's face normally. And here's my sim's face with this piece of cc applied. As you can see, his jaw changes shape. Someone in a discord server mentioned something about weights, but there's no mesh that is touching that part of the face, and all of the parts of the mesh are the same color in weight paint mode. I've never done anything weight-related, and wasn't expecting to have to, since I thought this would be as simple as deleting the sections of the mesh I didn't want to use. Here's the .blend file of my LOD0 for the mesh edit.
EDIT, I'm note sure why the images aren't being properly inserted, so here's a link to screenshots of the issue. image issues
EDIT 2: I was able to get the images to show up, see below.

Hi. Presumably your package is tuned to exclude certain morphs. Currently your blend is split in the wrong way. This should not have an effect on facial morphs, but fixing it the following way should fix that issue as well: - open your blend and join all meshgroups of the garment into one with Ctrl J; - give it cut 0; - in s4s click on CAS and type in Noctis, choose this item, Next, name it something, replace your current package for this outfit; - import the blend and textures.
