Hello! I am sorry if this is a silly question. I've actually never done anything like this before. I have a mod that I really enjoy, but the texture for the item it uses is not something I care for. So I was hoping to replace it with another item (same type of item, same size) but I realized I don't quite know how to do that or what I need to do. Would someone be able to help, maybe?

Hi. We would need to know what it is for more detailed instructions, but open s4s, click on My projects, find this package. In Texture tab export the diffuse texture and edit it in the image editor

Hi. We would need to know what it is for more detailed instructions, but open s4s, click on My projects, find this package. In Texture tab export the diffuse texture and edit it in the image editor Hi! The mod is called functional hairbrushes, and I was (attempting) to figure out how to use another cc hairbrush to replace the hairbrush the mod comes with. The mod comes with a more mm hairbrush, and the one I want uses alpha textures. That's where my post comes in because I knew it wouldn't be terribly simple (as in pressing a button, lol) but I have never edited any sort of cc before, and I read another post I thought would apply to me, but in the end I don't think it did so I was just confused on if this was something I could possibly do! I have opened the texture panel, I think that's where I get lost, lol. The last post said to export the textures, but I am worried about functionality. Edit: These were the two packages I was trying to work with, if this helps. Sorry for the lack of detail before. hairbrush i want to use and hairbrush i want to replace

- install blender as explained here- create a folder on your desktop and put both packages you shared in it; - in s4s main menu click on My projects and choose hairbrush for replacing.package;- Tools - Studio - Export all. This will create hairbrush for replacingResources folder in the same place the package is; - from the created folder open LOD 0 ( High ); - RMB-click on s4studio_mesh_0 and choose Delete; - select s4studio_mesh_1 and change the cut to 0, save; - repeat this process with lod 1 ( medium ) - in the folder select these three maps and delete them - rename hairbrush for replacingResources to hairbrush to replaceResources; - in s4s open hairbrush to replace.package, delete extra swatches so only one remains; - Tools - Studio - Import all; - File - Save as - save into ts4 Mods folder
