I want to make a rotating crystal object. I wanted to use the FX from the ceiling fan, but I don't know how to combine them. I used a plant object for the mesh, but I want to combine the tuning with the fan so it rotates. How do I do this?

I figured it out. The simplest way is to append the mesh into the .blend of an item with the pinwheel shader, and make sure that the part you want to spin is in the correct mesh group.
