Sims 4 Studio recently opened object recolors to our community with the Alice series. Now we want to open up even greater modding ability. And where is the first place Alice looks? The Looking Glass of course. This is a default replacement for every EA mirror and it allows mirrors to slide up and down just as the EA paintings do. They can slide without a cheat and they will move smoothly into position without the limits of the recent cheat EA provided that allows up and down movement to any object.
The .package has been trimmed to the bare essentials...all this will do is tell your mirrors to work how they should have worked in the first place. The link is below the pictures.
This .package was created while working on Sims 4 Studio's ability to create default replacements and it is a success. The team expects this feature, packaged with other improvements to Alice, to be available in the upcoming week so that other creators can start working on default replacement items. The hope is that people will want to push the envelope and this facet of Sims 4 Studio. If you're interested in helping to develop this aspect of Studio please contact someone on the team.
In the meantime I hope you will enjoy better and more versatile mirrors. Merry holiday season everyone

Hi
Sorry to bother you. I had this in my game and I noticed when I tried to save a building I created to my Sims 4 library it marks the building as having cc and will not save to my library. Once I take out this cc it allows me to save the building to my library. Just thought you would like to know. It is a great mod especially when trying to use long mirrors down in basements.

Hi Areil, I don't really save houses to my Sims 4 library so I have no personal experience with it. I believe though that it should be possible to save homes that contain custom content to it and, in fact, people even share homes containing custom content in the EA Sims 4 Gallery. If you aren't able to do so you might want to inquire over at EA forums because there are a lot of players posting there and everyone helps each other figure things out about the game. It's a pretty friendly place and I think the people there would be able to help you. |

Areil, when you look at your library, go over to the left hand side, toward the bottom, and there will be a search option "...Advanced". Select that and then select "Include Custom Content". Now you should probably be able to see your lot. If that wasn't the problem, I am sorry :(

Thank you for helping molliesdollies. When it comes to issues like this I have to admit I really have no idea how lots save into the library.
