This recolour of Peacemaker IC's Bayside Bedding (original mesh here) was made for my first milestone on tumblr, and consists of 24 ethnic themed bed linen sets that can be matched with Peacemaker's Bayside bedframe or any other double bedframe you have. - Patterns: African bold prints, Indonesian batiks, Native American designs, Australian Aboriginal dot art, Celtic ornaments… - Style tool compatible - Price: 800 S - Custom thumbnails

African Fashion Week Vol I includes 11 recoloured clothing items (29 Mb in total), for which you need Spa Day and Perfect Patio as well as the turban/headwrap mesh converted from TS3 to TS4 (for both males and females) by Hellfrozeover / icecream-for-breakfast HERE (thank you so much!). Details:- Standalone recolours, will not overwrite anything - custom thumbnails (you'll see a brown border, TheAfricanSim stamp and a dark skinned model) - disabled for random, most are enabled for the majority of outfit type (everyday, formal, party, situation, career) and are for teens to elder - Fabrics used: ankara wax, dashiki cloth, kuba... I did get a lot of interest in this project but no specific requests, so I did what I wanted what my kids wanted, and just added some old skool stuff for myself, ‘cause, ya know, I am an old lady. No mesh necessary (base game), disabled for random.   Artwork credits:

Invest in Vests - Colourful vests for kids (and matching pants too). Happy Holidays! If your Sims parents are Scrooges and think Christmas is only for kids, and they should only get what you have to buy for them anyway, then here you go. 16 Vests and pants. If you're a particularly miserly miser, get it two sizes too big and they can use it next year too. I find vests pretty smart but I don't know or understand how to coordinate the EA swatches, they didn't make much sense to me and were a little drab. So here is my version (standalone, won't replace anything), with 16 options - some are Christmas-y, some are very bright cheerful things, others are old-fashioned posh stuff... Details:- basegame compatible (no mesh necessary) - standalone recolour - for boys and girls - 16 vests and 16 pants (you can match together or separately) - custom thumbnails - disabled for random - the pants are classified as jeans and pants , vests as vests (*doh*) - enabled for everyday, formal, situation and party

Believe & Become's Hijab Dress ( Long sleeved maxi dress) It’s a basegame recolour of the Princess Leia costume so no mesh necessary and it works so well with the beautiful headscarf made by Luumia here and recoloured by annachibi which you can get here. Although I have called it a hijab dress, it’s pretty much just a long sleeved modest maxi dress, which could be worn by anyone, though it does have a niche amongst conservative women of different religions (Christian, Islamic and Jewish amongst others), different ethnic backgrounds (Africans, Arabs, Indians, etc) and also is pretty much standard traditional clothing for women in cold countries for quite a couple of centuries at least.       This is less than half of what I made for myself in order to make Movie Hangout Stuff "usable" for me lol (I wanted to stick to just a few wacky colours not have all of them at the same time) but I have rushed it out because it goes REALLY well with Day of the Dead - and secondly, who knows if I ever will really finish this project? I used as main reference the different combinations of the double doors and ended up with 13 swatches I have used for most things. Includes: - B&B Boho Cargeaux Counter - 3 swatches - may add more in the future - it's in counters and accent table. There was a lot of hand painting involved, believe me. - B&B Boho Onderon Sun - 3 swatches - match the above counters, found in the Tiles section, all 3 heights.. - B&B Boho Stucco N´You - 13 swatches (matching the doors), found in the Wallpaper section. - B&B Boho Whole Lotta Terracotta - 13 swatches (match the above perfectly), all three heights. - B&B Boho Crazy Happy Wallpaper - 5 swatches of Bohemian designs I felt complimented the colours nicely - one of them I did a two half versions of, as you can see in the preview, found under Wallpaper, all three heights. - B&B Boho Dream Within a Dream - just one recolour because it was really crazy, colouring, but I did add three swatches so you have all three main trims (wood, white, black), found in the Tiles section, all three heights. BG compatible African Headwrap
(Conversion of EA Store's mesh originally converted and edited by ModishKitten) (with much help from indiaskapie who did the most important part of the work) Previews:   In 30 African patterns (including Ankara, Mudcloth, Shweshwe and Kente patterns you will have seen in previous projects) and 26 solid colours specifically referenced from African textile samples (that happen to look gorgeous on black and brown skin). It clips with some hairstyles, and looks best with short hair. If you like, please do me a teeny favor and send me an ask or personal message with 3 digits - your favourite pattern (e.g. P03) or your favourite colour (C16) so I can keep on record what patterns and colours are the most popular to use them more often (you can choose several if you like). I dedicate this little retexture to fuyaya who is an amazing cc creator, a wonderful person and also is so helpful and kind to new custom content creators.
