which one is easier to make hair from scratch? what is the difference from those two...? and if you can; is there any tutorial for hair making things...? I'm trying to make it and it just so damn hard (so I stopped right in the middle), and wondering if I'm doing it right

Making heiar from scratch is very difficult. You could start with watching a blender tutorial on hair. I was told by OM that this one found HERE is a really good one to watch.

semechikuba, take a look at the components of Sims 4 hair tutorial that I wrote. If you're planning on making your hair fall below the shoulders it will need weights and it will need to be unwrapped for a second UV map. From your question I can't tell what you mean by which one or what is the difference between those two.

I'm so sorry if I wasn't clear enough, because I didn't know the difference at all so the hair is a lot easier if it is short and if it is long it'll need weights and uv unwrap-things which is more complicated...(?)
I just wondering why there are beta and alpha, and yes we can tell from the texture too that is different (just a thought: if beta is easier then I go with beta hair than alpha or reverse) because I'm still learning how to make it and totally noob about this hair things

with alpha hair it is very complicated to get things working properly, and there is some tuning to do, so i would recommend you start with beta hair, and if you need help with weights and vertex paint Ive made a tutorial here at s4s. If you scroll down you'll find it in this thread. this is basically for bone assignments, and the UV unwrap. the unwrap in this tutorial is done with 3ds max, so ive included a link to a tutorial by untraditionalnerd showing how to do it in blender. sims4studio.com/thread/2166/hair-problem-when-assigned-spine2 -- my tutorial sims4studio.com/thread/2091/tutorial-01-hair-uv-unwrap tutorial by unerd, showing how to make a cylindrical unwrap in blender. I hope this is helpful for you.

(sorry for the late reply) Thank you lara, I'll take a look at the tutorial
but other than blender, is there any other program much more easier to use? (just a thought) I saw some simmers use 3ds a lot

3ds is not free where blender is. 3ds is easier to use than blender in a lot of respects, but they both have the same learning curve. When I say its easier, its more user friendly and has more tricks to make things easier, what can be done in 4 different steps in blender 3ds can do it with a click of a button. If you are starting out meshing for the sims blender is way better simply because its free, ppl who use 3dsmax or maya usually have been making meshes for years for all sorts of things outside the sims.
Also on here there are loads of ppl who can help you with blender, there are not many 3ds users.
