Hi, since the migration from Origin to the Ea app for mac users, is anyone having problems configuring paths to the folders with Sims 4 Studio? I can’t get mine to work whatsoever and have reset mac to factory settings and have redownloaded ea numerous times. Does anyone have an idea of what folders the game should be in and what the correct configuration path is for the folders to go in? They don’t seem to be in the same folders as Origin used for Sims4studio. I’m about to pull out my hair with the frustration LOL

Hi, thanks for replying. I follow that video every time I download it, but this time maybe because it’s switched from Origin app to Ea app it won’t configure the path.

laurajd , I cannot download the EA app for Mac yet, so I can't see what they changed. Can you right-click on the sims 4 app and click to show package contents and screenshot the folder structure? This is what mine looks like still on Origin.

Your first screenshot looks like everything S4S is looking for is there. In your second one, it shows S4S is set to "The Sims 4.app/Contents" when it should just be "The Sims 4.app" at the end. Can you change that and see if it works?

Hi again, yeh I changed that when it wouldn't allow it access with the sims4app, it's still not working unfortunately. The screen comes up like it's loading all the packages and then it goes white. I am doing it since last night, trying every which way possible , it's a mystery to me <img src="http://

I got it to work FINALLY!! I went into Ea app and changed the default install location for the sims 4 to "Users" and that worked. I would recommend anyone being switched to choose "Users/yourusername/applications" and download the game to there. It let me into Sims4Studio then! It might not work for others but if someone has issues (like mine) maybe this might help them out! Thanks so much for all of the help, I really appreciate it.

I'm glad you got it working. Also, thank you for posting back with the information in case anyone else runs into this issue. When I get a chance, I'll try moving mine to the main applications folder to see why it wouldn't work there.
