I've seen plenty of threads on how to fix this issue when it's for CAS, but not for Studio's Object button. I am following a tutorial on how to import CC to blender.
When I select Create 3D Mesh and Click Object, and then select the "Custom" selection in the Content dropdown, the package file I put is not there.
I have already put the .package file of the CC I downloaded into C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods.
Sims4Studio is located in C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Sims4Studio_v3.1.6.3 (Wishes)
The CC appears in Sims4Studio's CAS Create 3D Mesh, Content > Custom. But it does NOT appear in Object Create 3D Mesh, Content > Custom.
I have already restarted Sims4Studio after copy pasting the file into the mods folder. It does not appear.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It's very hard to find a solution in the forum when every other post related to this is just for the CAS option, not Object.
The Sims 4 game itself is located in M:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\

Have you tried using the latest S4S beta version (Star)? The Wishes version is outdated for newer game versions and I've seen a few creators having trouble with it lately. I'm not sure why you are having that problem but it might be best to migrate to Star for maximum compatibility.

No luck with that as well. Same issue as before. I've tried different CC from different creators as well, does not solve the issue either.
I just realized I could have posted in "Creator Help," which might have been a better place to post this, unless there's a rule against posting the same thread twice
I appreciate the reply though

I'm sorry it didn't work. If you would like to share one of the non-working object names I could test it (you can PM me if preferred). I would like to help you solve this because I just checked and the two objects I have in my folder are showing up. I also found this information that might be of help in case you haven't seen it. Also this user says the CC has to also be in the game mods folder for it to work, so maybe that could be the issue.

If I checked the steps on that first link you sent right, it should be set up correctly. I've got the correct microsoft .NET files installed, the latest version of Blender, as well as the respective Sims 4 Studio Beta Version you recommended. Sims 4 is installed in M drive, Sims 4 Documents is C drive, Blender is C Drive, and Sims4Studio is C drive. I've double checked that Sims4Studio paths to them all, and the package files I want to export are both in the game mods folder and Sims4Studio's Mods folder. All CC I have installed for the game can be found when I click the "My CC" button, and I tried adding the mods I wanted exported to the "recolorables" folder that someone said in the 2nd link you sent, just in case that might do something. Still no luck there. Here's a link to one of the CC items I was trying to export Or you can search for it on google, it's called "EllieSimple's Mini turtleneck (CC's Pack 1)"

I found the file and it's showing up correctly under the CAS Create 3D mesh. After rereading your first post I'm wondering if I misunderstood what you are trying to make. I thought you were trying to export Build/Buy objects, in which case they would be under Object Create 3d mesh. If it is a clothing item, it would only show up under the CAS create mesh button.
Can you tell me what tutorial you are using and what you are creating?

I was following this video ,though I'm now noticing the person in the video uses a chair, not clothing or something.
Though if clothing is not considered objects then maybe the tutorial I was following might not be the right one then, though I haven't found any others that use sims4studio so maybe it might not be possible with studio, since it looks like you can only export as package or save or world files.
Was using it because I wanted to just export the clothing items as objects to view in blender

I think all you would need to do is create a package, then click on the Meshes tab on the right and Export Mesh (lod 0 is the highest quality). Then you can open the exported mesh in Blender.

Is there something else you're supposed to do before exporting it? I was able to get to that point, but anything I export just shows a camera and 5 lamps in its objects, rather than the rig and and mesh that should have been exported. The mesh tab even shows it having 7351 Vertices and 12065 Polygons. Maybe something else needs to be selected or something.

It works for me (I'm using Blender 3.6).

Make sure: - you have the latest version of s4s beta; - you are running it instead of wishes ( in the top left corner ); - the version of blender is compatible ( blender 4 is not yet compatible) and the blender path in s4s settings leads to blender.exe in the installation folder; - the game path is correct How to correctly install and configure everything is explained here

Thank you both! It now shows up and imports properly now. Blender 3.6 and pathing to that fixed that. Really appreciate your help.
Do you happen to know how to export only the clothing object? It seems to also include a A pose sim mesh as well, unless that's related to the CC itself and not something I can change. Never mind on the A pose thing, it seems like it's a CC related issue, the sim mesh is separate for some, and combined with the clothing object in others.

This is how things work in TS4. The garment contains the body, so youd need to delete the body parts
