I wish I could add this to the wishlist. But I'm not allowed to post there, and I can only post here. There is something I find pretty much annoying about this new S4Studio Version. It really bothers me since a while that I cannot add via the regular hexcode colors to S4Studio as we used to be able. Why has this been removed?
There is no doubt that the regular #hexcode that consists of 6 digits is the most used one worldwide.
I know S4Studio has integrated that one that has the alpha channels hence why it has 8 digits now.
All colors I use are converted to the regular hexcode, and I wish it would be added back because converting them to the alpha hexcode is a real pain in the butt.
It makes things more complicated now in my personal view. Please guys at least consider to add it back and offer the standard hexcode as well.
All color pallets in our communty have 6-digits hexcodes and not 8-digit hexcodes
Meaning adding them I need to convert each color into a 8 digit hexcode or RGB or HSV or whatever.
It's quite annoyint to work with the 8-digits code if you don't need it, as most items don't have even alpha colors. So I don't understand the purpose of using the 8-digit code.
Maybe there is a valid reason, but welp for my purpose in S4S I simply need the regular 6-digit hexcode.
However, I use S4Studio to fix errors, recolor things and add missing swatches, thumbnails, batch-fixes etc. So I don't use the 8digit #hexcode nor do I need it.
I don't know how others feel about this but I'm speaking here for myself. I really hope and wish it will be back with one of the upcoming patches or so. Why can't we have both and let us decide
which hexcode we want to use?
It drives me wild you cannot imagine, how much! LOL
Would truly appreciate if you guys would put it back.
Thanks ahead for reading my little rant here.
