For TS3, Virtual Artisan made an amazing object, the Decorator's Best Friend. virtualartisan.blogspot.com/2013/01/decorators-best-friend.htmlIt seems to work on a similar principle to the Granthes OMSP. You interact with the object by shift-clicking it in build mode, then you select the object you want to move and input the number of spaces (100 spaces was 1 tile, or maybe 50) and which direction to move it. Once there you couldn't move the object or it would snap back to a slot. Is this possible in TS4? I've heard from other modders that slots work very differently and are more difficult. I have found that in my own playing as well, I can't get things in juuuuust the perfect space as I could in TS3 with DBF and it's been frustrating, even with the ctrl+9 height modifier.

You can already move objects up and down in game by doing CTRL + Shift + C , type in bb.moveobjects and then press enter. When placing objects using this cheat, press the Alt keyboard button and you’ll be able to place objects without grid limitations. To move an object up, press number 9 on your Keyboard. To put it back down press number 0. This cheat just wont tilt the object.

Thank you, yes that's what I meant by the "ctrl+9 height modifier". I liked that DBF had a bit of a finer amount of degrees, like I could move a lamp up to just the perfect height for a non-standard height desk. If making an object like this isn't possible I'll soldier on, but I do think it would be quite handy.
