Hello all, I went into the page that helps with antivirus software. But the two examples are not the antivirus I have. I do have a section where I can add files, folders, and websites to an "Allow List." Which I have added the C:\ProgramData\S4Studio\Logs folder in there and it's still giving me an error message. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks in advance!

Hi. When are you getting an error and what does it say? What version of s4s do you have?

Hi! Thank you for responding So, as soon as I open the app, the Error window shows up and it says: I have Sims 4 Studio 3.2.0.9 (Star)

The image I inserted doesn't show, but the error message says
"Sims 4 Studio is unable to access a file or folder that it needs: C:\ProgramData\S4Studio\Logs.
This is most likely caused by antivirus software running on your computer. To continue using Sims 4 Studio without this error, you will need to configure your antivirus software to allow Sims 4 Studio to access files that it needs. Hm, strange. Recently the developers moved the location of the log files to avoid this type of issue. Can you try the following: - delete sims 4 studio folder from Documents; - make sure that s4s itself is not installed in Documents, Downloads, game files, on your desktop. It should be either in Program files or on the D drive; - if it was indeed installed in any of these wrong locations, delete it and reinstall (may as well download 3.2.1.0); - try starting it again, maybe as admin
The thing about this issue is that it’s not an antivirus anymore, it is the system… but it should not be happening anymore

I have absolutely zero problems getting this program to install and run, but downloading? OMG, what an absolute PITA. First google drive complains, then Microsoft gets in the way by stating that this doesn't seem like a file that is used much or something to that effect and finally Malwarebytes jumps in and says NO!!!! There is no frikken way you are going to that page!!! Yeah? Is that right? Goodbye Malcrapware. And then I can finally download this, oh but microcrap isn't done. I can start the download but then it hangs there and insist that I ditch the download but after a million times telling it to KEEP THE FILE, I finally get it into downloads. Once there, no problem but getting it there in the first place is one huge Pain. Just letting you know how big a problem this is to download.

Just to try a different way, I used my other computer running Manjaro (Linux) and other than a small complaint from Google Drive, I had no other problems downloading this. Between Microsoft and Malwarebytes, both need to back off and look for actual virus potential, then just slamming down the gate and assuming that people don't know what they're doing. Actually Google drive needs to take a step back as well.
