I was wondering if there might be a way to add a function that would allow me to add or take away days from a sim's age. That is, adjust the 'days until next birthday' meter. This way I could create sims in the same age category that won't all just age up at the same time. I also want to create a way to penalize myself for using the Book of Life, without removing my ability to use it altogether (by allowing me to remove a day from my Sim's lifespan each time he uses it).

Hi. Sounds like a cool idea. Is there any in-game interaction that lets you do that? Because if not, then you will probably have to start by coding the function yourself. That involves Python coding and XML coding. (There is a debug cheat interaction that maxes out the age progress(debug_MaxAge), but that was pretty much all I could find.)

That's more than I was aware existed, presuming it actually works by tweaking the age progress bar rather than the age category of the Sim. I don't know much about coding, but that does seem to set a framework for adjusting a sim's age on a level more nuanced than just aging up or down.

Anyone end up having an answer for this? I'm curious as well and don't seem to be getting answers anywhere.
