hi there, i might have screwed myself over with this but still extremly new to modding i might have made a big mistake and i need help ASAP.
so a while ago i downloaded S4S and i dindnt know you could just copy paste files in the "mods" file at first so i folowed a youtube tut that had you change (in this case) the default eye color you get ig. that by using "override" and choosing your eyes, putting them in a file and then using "my projects" to put the downloaded mod in and 1 for 1 copy paste them onto the default eye colors. anyway.
so i was cleaning up some apps on my pc and didnt think much about deleting S4S off my laptop because i learnt about the mods file method and uninstalled S4S and its files. but, when i went to run TS4 it gave me the error message of "broken or damaged files, please repair or redownload" so i freaked out and got all the S4S files from my recycling bin and redownloaded s4s and everything is still there just as it was but yet sims still wont run with the same error even after i repaired it.
or i guess a simpler question is how do i un-override the base game from S2S so its just the normal base game + its mods?
i still have the OG override files i used for the eyes and what i changed them too if thats any help.
can anyone help me to fix this issue? please<3

Hi. Neither s4s and any of its files nor eye replacement have the power to break the game on their own. The only situation in which this could have happened would be if you installed s4s in the game files, thus disrupting the structure of these folders. What you need to do is delete s4s properly from your computer and repair the game. If this wont work, you must have accidentally moved or deleted game files and should delete and re-install the game
