Hey there, Just wondering if anyone has already, or is willing to tackle trying to make "building blocks" to make modern houses with. What I had in mind was essentially having square blocks the same size as a floor square that you could put on top, or beside each other to make pillars or beams. I know the lighting would look funky with a bunch of squares though, so maybe if there were objects that are 1x1, 1x3 and 1x5 to make longer pieces, it would avoid that issue? Sort of the same way Serverinka_'s Chalet Living has the wooden beams. Unfortunately I have no idea how to create it myself, but if anyone has seen something similar, or is willing to maybe give it a shot, or let me know why it can't be done, I'd appreciate it! Building stuff like this would be cool:

whintersan In the game you can make square blocks by using the square room tool. I have created square pillars using the square wall tool. It is in build mode in the wall section. I have created a house similiar to this for play in my game. First you can use the square deck tool to get the platform. Second delete the rails. Third use the wall tool to create a square box as your first level. to the left of that box still on the platform use the create a room tool and make a one by one square. attach it to the house with a gate or fence. Go up one level and create a box and make it a little bigger then the one below. You are not going to the exact image as in the picture because the game does not give us the use of higher or lower decking on different levels. but the house does look good for the sims.

I didn't know that, I'll definitely give it a shot, and thanks for the reply!
