Huge thanks to everyone who made this amazing tool! I've made a handful of dresses and I've just made my first hair recolor and I just can't thank you enough.
I've just opened a blog site shara4sims.blogspot.co.uk/
My first dresses are pretty rubbish, but I'm hoping to get the hang of it soon I love the hair tool, I've not tried the walls yet.
Do you think you will ever add object support? (when it becomes available) and alpha/bumpmap editing for clothing?

Sim4ne, I'm so happy you're enjoying Studio and I appreciate you posting your pics and links. I think you did a great job with both of these items. Object support is in development but not far enough along to share even as an alpha tool. The bump map of clothing can be edited but for many, if not all, clothing items this requires a full clone in order to get the bump into the .package in a way that the game will recognize. If you're interested in recolors that have transparency I just wrote a new tutorial showing one way of achieving this. That's posted here: . DW, the shader support EA removed was for the SimHair shader. The SimSkin shader they have included with the game can be used over areas where Sim's skin shows and that's what they use themselves for their own clothing meshes. There are loads of possible ways this can be used to make transparent areas in a Sim garment.

Hi Demonwolf, Ahh that's where I've gone wrong, I have the Monty version 2.0.0.2 so I've not seen anything saying warehouse, I'll be sure to download it, Thanks. I'm confused about the alpha being in the texture file? no matter what I do to the texture file the alpha never changes. I made clothes for the sims 2 years ago and I loved changing the necklines and stuff with the white alpha file, but I can't seem to find it now. I googled TS4 tutorials and the few I've found seem to be pointing to sims4pe to change alphas, but I'd rather do it with your program because I'm lost on PE! When you say it's not possible to do transparency parts anymore, do you mean like adding lace or sheer sleeves? If so. that's a shame and I'll never forgive EA! Please forgive my confusion (or stupidity), I've only had the game for a couple of weeks and my The sims 2 creating days were a lifetime ago. Thanks again for this tool, I really love it, it's so simple to use and I'm so happy that I can recolor hair with it, I never did hair in TS2 and certainly didn't expect to in TS3. I'm also doing a very happy dance now I know that objects are planned - and all in the same tool

Thanks brujah I've just got photoshop 2 days ago, I'm used to using PSP, so I need all the help I can get before I start using it! On a quick note, I've just changed my name and web address from Sim4ne, I noticed there was another creator called Sim4ny and the names are close enough to cause confusion. I've already edited my post link and username on here.
