I'm trying to reply to the Bug report thread, since that seems to be where all the FAQs suggest you go for help, but I'm unable to figure out how I actually post there. What am I missing? Image of what I see hosted on ImageBBAlso, the bug report thread states it is only for posts that include error messages, but my issue is that Sims 4 Studio won't open at all and gives no feedback when I try to run it. Even trying to run it from command prompt gives me no feedback at all.

The bug report thread is for bugs. A bug is an actual problem in the software, that can only be fixed by the developers making changes to the program, and which has been tested to make sure there isn't some other cause. Experienced users of S4S and the forum report bugs they have encountered themselves, or bugs they have encountered while doing support for other users, so it's easy for the developers to see what needs to be fixed.
New users who are not familiar enough to distinguish between a bug and some other type of problem are meant to post in the support areas of the forum, to get support fixing their problem, not in the bug report thread. No support occurs in the bug report thread, because real bugs can only be fixed by the developers rewriting the code, and therefore support would be useless. That's why you can't post there. The FAQs do not suggest posting there.

If there's an error in your s4s folder there will be a error log in there. Make sure that your virus scanners or malware stuff isn't blocking your ability to open the program...and also run it as an administrator on windows. If you're running apple, I do not know what steps you need to take there... but first and foremost the problem with the studio not even getting started is something in windows blocking it. Also make sure you have the recent version of it that is for your OS... and make sure to use the installer if you're not sure how to use the zip version. It's much easier to have it install itself.
