It doesn't make any sense for a community tool to be proprietary software. Sims 4 Studio is a great tool but it could be better if it let people contribute.

Also, faster updates. It's normal to have real life obligations that come first, but surely someone else in the community would have the drive to help in that case.

It does makes sense to the developers. They coded this tool and it’s their decision to keep the tool. There are open source community tools for The Sims 4. You are welcome to contribute there.

You can help around the forum answering people's questions about how to work in this software and how to create content. Other than that devs don't need any help. |

Hi @giorgioproductions, as Feyona told you four months ago, there is an open source community tool. If you would like to contribute to the open source community tool, the link is HERE. That project could certainly use help as it hasn't had any update for a long time. As far as Sims 4 Studio goes, Feyona is right, we don't need any help. I'm curious, what are you planning to contribute to the community tool now that I've Googled the link to it for you. |
