If you are receiving an error message when trying to run Studio, it could be a problem with your antivirus software. Below are links showing how to configure your antivirus software to allow Studio to run on your computer. Why this error shows up (if this is TLDR, just skip to the tutorial links below) Sims 4 Studio uses a folder in your user's Documents folder to store files that make it run faster and allow troubleshooting (a database file to speed searches, log files to help diagnose errors, intermediate files that speed tuning extraction, and folders to hold batch fix backups, color palettes, and mods). Sometimes antivirus programs prevent Studio from creating or modifying this file. When an antivirus program blocks access, Studio will produce an error message. When this happens, Studio is basically unable to do anything useful at all. To prevent your antivirus software from blocking Studio, you will need to configure the application to allow Studio to modify files. Below are instructions showing how to configure some common antivirus software apps. Configuring your antivirus software:AVG AntivirusAvast Antivirus
