Hi all,
I apologize if this is in the wrong area, but I'm not sure where else to post, and the last messages in this thread (https://sims4studio.com/thread/1659/batch-fix-show-random-sims?page=8) with any answers is from 2019. Anyway, I recently got Sims4Studio and am trying to remove CC for random. I have done exactly what the tutorial says and though it looks like it ran correctly, I haven't noticed a change in the CC the townies are wearing. I tried to run it again and it just said "No fix needed", compared to before when it said nearly 400 items were fixed. I'm using a Mac, if that is any help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ETA: Oops, I see now that it doesn't affect already generated townies! Does anyone have any suggestions for how to take CC off previous townies? Thanks!

You're going to have to do that in-game. There are many ways to do so, the simplest of which is probably just editing the households in CAS through the household manager and then setting them back to unplayed. This can cause Sims to lose NPC-only roles, though, so for those Sims you may want to use methods meant to make over unplayed Sims. There's even a BGC one detailed here (you can create a Sim just to do this and cheat them to the appropriate career level), but you can also use the makeover chair or wardrobe platform from Get Famous, for example. You can also use mods to make the process easier -- MCCC in particular has features for summoning Sims and features that will let you change many aspects of Sims' appearance without having to go into CAS.
